Best Crock-Pot Roast

It’s not easy being the best wife in the world, but somebody’s gotta do it!

My husband said this was the best roast he’s ever had!

I’m sure a lot of you have seen the Mississippi Pot Roast on Facebook or Pinterest, but here’s how I did it.

What you need:

-Boneless beef chuck roast (I got H-E-B Natural angus beef - 3lbs)

-1 Packet of Ranch Dip mix

-1 Packet of Au Jus mix

-Jar of Peperoncini (I added 5 peperconcinis and about 1/4 cup of the juice)

-Half a cup of water

Almost all of the recipes called for a stick of butter, but there’s no reason to add that extra fat in your life, it was sooo delicious. I couldn’t find any recipes that added water so I think that really helped make it juicy.

How to make it:

-First put your chuck roast in the crockpot

-Pour both packets of mix on top

-Pour in half a cup of water

-Add peppers and the juice

-Cook on low for 8 hours (this is very important, the longer the better)

I made the yummy golden potatoes from this recipe for our side.

Ok, bye!
