We have done this several ways, but here is my latest sheet pan meal.
Easy, healthy, and delicious recipe
What you need:
- Sheet pan
- Foil - Golden potatoes - Smoked sausage of choice (My husband likes Dickey’s brand) - Broccoli - Olive oil - Fresh chopped or powdered garlic - Sea Salt and pepper - Thyme - Parsley
Directions: - Set oven to 350 - Slice potatoes into thin pieces - Add golden potatoes, olive oil, sea salt, pepper, thyme, parsley, and garlic to a bowl - mix - Put the potatoes in for about 20 minutes by themselves - While the potatoes are cooking, chop broccoli and steam - Season broccoli with sea salt, pepper, garlic powder, and olive oil - Add broccoli to the pan 15 or 20 minutes into cooking and cook an additional 5-10 minutes - Next add the sausage, then cook an additional 10 minutes - Finally broil on high for 2-5 minutes be sure and keep an eye so it doesn’t burn up! The potatoes will cook just fine for 30-40 minutes total.
Other ideas: I’ve done this exact recipe and added chicken. You could also add mushrooms, onions, or zucchini My aunt just did - Sausage, onion, brussels sprouts, and butter nut squash Options are endless! P.S. I like a sheet pan with a lip so grease and olive oil doesn't spill in the oven.
