Sweet Potato Chips

Updated: May 22, 2020

Out of chips? COVID-19 has me making actual chips at home, okay.

These were actually really good and you could totally do this with regular potatoes

Directions: -Preheat the oven to 400 degrees -Rinse sweet potatoes in water and leave on the skin -Slice potato into thin slices -Put slices into a bowl and drizzle olive oil to coat -Sprinkle pre-mixed Italian seasoning or you can google how to make your own HA HA -Lay slices flat on a pan, and don’t stack them. I lined my pan with foil.

-Sprinkle sea salt on top -Cook for 10 minutes on each side -Broil on high for about 3 minutes to really crisp them up. Keep an eye on them so they don’t burn!

My son and the dog were enjoying the sweet potatoes raw!

Another tip for you to try - loaded sweet potatoes (butter, sour cream, bacon bits, etc.) are actually realllly good! Ok, bye.
